Today I’d like to start something new, a “Friend/Customer Spotlight”. With my background in landscaping, I often get asked tons of questions from customers that come in to look at rock. I don’t mind answering these questions, and if you know me, I’m sure you know that I love to talk – but I’d like to pass you off to a much more qualified individual!

On a side note, I’d like to praise Mary for her tenacious quest for knowledge; she is always telling me about new tips and tricks that she has learned, seminars and classes that she has taken and her love of helping people really shines! It’s great to see assertive and strong women holding their own in a predominantly male-driven industry – I am happy to know her and call her my friend.

Mary Frost, also known as the Gardening Tutor, has been coming into our shop to buy compost and planting mix for years. She’s constantly going the extra mile for her clients, and she’s the kind of person that we love working with! I once heard her say “when you know better, you do better” – and I couldn’t agree more, so in that same spirit, I’d like to help Mary, help you do better.
